Black History Planned The Gospel Chorus of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will be sponsoring their annual Black History Program at 6 p.m. on Feb. 26. i n The speaker for this occasion will be Rev. Bessie “Tish” Taylor. Her topic for the evening will be “Lest We Forget.” Special music will be provided by the Williams Chapel Mass Choir. “Please come out and enjoy this program,” said a spokesperson.

Services To Expand First Church of Christ Scientist in Warrenton is expanding its services by conducting Wednesday noontime meetings the first Wednesday of each month beginning March 2. This 12 o’clock meeting will be in addition to the regularly scheduled 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening meeting. At these Wednesday meetings there are readings from the King James Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Also, members of the congregation share experiences and healings gained through their study of Christian Science. The church is located at 311 Jackson Street. Everyone is welcome at all services. Collection are not taken on Wednesday.
