Amissville Baptist Activities
AmissviUe Baptist Church will open its “Clothes Closet” in the fellowship hall from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 10. Clothes available for those in need include sizes for men, women and children, some coats. These items are not for resale.
The Women’s Group at Amissville Baptist will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. You’re invited to join them for a Christmad cookie exchange. Bring three to four dozen cookies with the recipe for exchanging. For more details call Linda Torrance at 937-4752.
Holiday Open House
Gray Ghost Vineyards will host a holiday open house from 11 a. m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11. Sample the award-winning wines along with selected hors d’oeuvres. Stroll through the winery and view the “soon to be famous” cork Christmas tree. During the open house, all wines will be available at special prices for holiday gift giving.
