Poetry Reading Scheduled Poet Carla Theodore will be giving a reading of her poetry at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3 at The Theatre in Washington Gay Street. Two interludes of gospel music will be given by members of the Young Adult Chorus of the Promise Land Baptist Church. Admission is $6. AmissviUe Carnival Set Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s annual carnival is set for June 21-24. Family night is Wednesday. Parade will be held Thursday evening, June 22.
