To the Editor:

President Bob Darby and the members of the Rappahannock Lions Club want to express their gratitude for the great support received from all the community sponsors, donors and friends responsible for making the Lion Auction ‘95 an outstanding success.

Over thirty businesses and local organization donated valuable products and services for auction sale at the fire hall on May 13. Scores of individuals also gave a wonderful variety of items that helped the Lions Club clear over $5,200, all of which will be allocated to serving community needs:**

Space doesn’t permit a detailed listing of the sources of the generous gifts, but the auction customers who completed in the bidding all know who you are.

Special thanks to our friends who made the Washington Fire Hall available again for this annual event and to the Rappahannock News for the exposure we need to attract the audience. We truly appreciate the superior support.
