Following an executive session the Library Board voted to give librarian Patti Holmes a contract and a two and a hal f percent raise retroactive to the end of her six-month probationary period.
The board also agreed to sell the silver coins and cuff links they have had for a number of years. None of the items are particularly rare or valuable.
The library now has a bicycle rack located on the side of the building. It was donated, Chairman Roberta Anderson reported. She also said the the board should go ahead and fix problems with the front door since the contractor has not responded to repeated calls for assistance.
Treasurer Helen Platt reported that the budget appears to be in good shape with a little over a month to go, and said the board should go ahead with spending planned for repairs and equipment. The board agreed to accept a customer service agreement with Winnebago, the supplier of the
