Linda Ramer will present “Sheeva,” a mixed media piece of river debris, steel, bees wax, light and river rock. “This work is the second of three that deals with the creative, destructive and transforming rhythms of nature,” Ms. Ramer said. The floods of 1995 provided materials gathered from the banks of the Robinson River.
Janet Kerig will be showing a silk dyed with nettles, jewel weed and ■„ indigo, measuring 45 inches square. She says, of her work, “I honor the Hazel River where 1 swim in its clean water, collect natural dye plants along its banks and pray for clean water in the future.”
Kim McLaughlin will be presenting a fabric also, a mixed media piece of which she says, “This water spirit came to me from Keyser Run.
