Last Saturday, he met with Rappahannock Democratic Committee Chair Franklin Schmidt and his wife, Esther, local committee member Bruce Sloane and other local Democratic activists and campaign staff to discuss ways to get the message out to area voters. Earlier this month, June 7-8, the Schmidts, Mr. Sloane, and Kent Reeve traveled to Hampton as Delegates to the Virginia Democratic Convention.
In a speech before, more than 2,800 delegates at the convention, Mr. Weinberg urged voters to take back the 10th and reverse the damage done by the Republicans’ Contract With America.
