A 17 year-old boy from Castleton was charged with reckless driving following an accident on Route 617 in Castleton last Friday morning.
He was driving a 1988 GMC pickup southbound on Route 617, .4 mile south of Route 616, when he lost control on a curve and struck a 1969 International truck driven by Larry William Baldwin, 63, of Culpeper. The juvenile’s truck then struck an embankment, and ended up having $6,000 damage. Mr. Baldwin’s truck had $1,000 damage.
Neither was injured. State Trooper Sean Knick investigated the accident.
