Amanda Brown of Cadette Girl Scout Troop 402 of the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council held a fire hour camp training session for Rappahannock youngest Girl Scout, (daisy fly-ups) at the Falls’ residence in Woodville on Saturday:
This is Amanda’s project for her silver award. The girls enjoyed making snake T-shirts, ditty bags, and fire starters. They also learned camp courtesy and safety, knot tying, knife safety, how to build a camp fire, select wood for a camp fire, and cook a meal outdoors.
