AIDE Workshop Set
Rappahannock County High School will be hosting a financial AIDE workshop on Jan. 6th at 6:30 in the RCHS library. The purpose will be to help parents of college-bound students learn how to complete the FAFSA and learn about grants and loans.

Master Gardener Training
The Fauquier County Extension Office will conduct the 1997 Master • Gardener Volunteer Training Program during February and March. Classes will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Extension Office in Warrenton. The first class will be Feb. 4.
The Master Gardener Program involves 50 hours of classroom instruction. Upon completion of the classroom portion, participants are required to return 50 hours of volunteer service to the program. The cost for the program is $75, which includes the Virginia Master Gardener Handbook.
Persons interested in the programshould contact the Fauquier Extension Office at 341-7950. All applicants must make an appointment to pick up a registration form and participate in an orientation interview

Rapidtran Will Not Operate
Rapidtran will not operate on the following days: Friday, December 20, an agency in-service day; Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. Rapidtran is a program ot the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board.
Raffle Tickets Available
A NASCAR raffle to benefit The Flint Volunteer Fire Department is currently underway. The Daytona 500 package includes five nights stay for two with Oceanfront hotel on Daytona Beach and $600 cash for travel The donation is $10 per ticket and only 1,000 will be sold. Drawing will be December 21, 1996 for the February trip.
