That number swelled to over 20 before it was time to leave for * the Saturday morning shopping trip, . * and each youngster had over $100 to - spend thanks to the generosity of the Rappahannock community. • • Each Sheriffs Office employee * was paired up with at least two kids at - K-Mart in Warrenton. The shopped first for necessities, like winter coats and other clothing. There was enough ‘ money so they could buy presents for ‘ other members of their family, and then shop for toys. Some of the kids needed more ; than others, said Sheriff Gary Settle. - One little girl exceeded the $100 and ‘ • still hadn't bought all the clothing she really needed.
