On Sunday the families of Milton Daniel and Lizzie Heflin Norman met at Chason's Restaurant in Winchester for their Christmas dinner.
Rodney and Jo Vest spent Saturday night in Winchester where they attended the Virginia Farm Bureau Christmas dinner. Mr. Vest was also recognized for 26 years of service and his retirement effective 12-31-96.

John and Brenda VanNess of Washington are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Harper Walz VanNess on Dec. 5 irr Charlottesville. Weighing nine pounds and four ounces. She joins her sister, Lucy Arden VanNess.
Harper’s maternal grandparents are Christopher and Rose Marie Walz of Alexandria and paternal grandparents are Harper and Sue VanNess of Bethesda, Md.
