• The board voted to have a public hearing concerning a town - and county boundary adjustment issue. A landowner in the town has a small portion of his property that he wishes brought within the town boundary.
• Capt. Chris Williams was appointed as interim sheriff. Sheriff Gan' Settle said goodbye and thank you to the board for all their support while he was in office.
