The article calls it a “grueling two-day trial.” This I agree with and must admit many questions came to my mind while sitting through it, the foremost being, “Is this effective use of our tax dollars?” “Could this somehow have been avoided?” “A two-day trial for a $3 conviction?” Perhaps we could have built our much needed track, fixed another leaky roof or even hired more office help at RCES with the money we just spent on this ftrial. Perhaps instead of setting up surveillance cameras and seeking help of outside agencies the matter could have been handled internally.
