Her husband, Sergeant Kerim Miller, a Marine Corps Recruiter in Canandaigua, N.Y. was recently honored with a special award. Major General Gary L. Parks, Commanding General of Marine Corps Recruiting Command, presented Kerim with the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal. His family and friends are very proud of him and wishes him the very best in his career.
Our sympathy is extended to the family of Ruth Johnson who passed away earlier this month. Her family and friends gathered at Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville for her funeral services presided over by Rev. Forrest Freeman. She will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.
