Officers elected to head the S.C.A. at Rappahannock County Elementary School were installed during ceremonies Tuesday. Officers are: Greg Way land, treasurer; Carolyn Glascock, president; Linda Smoot, vice president and Raye Rector, Secretary. The group is under the direction of James Wayland, instructor at the school. Rappahannock County High school was broken into by unknown persons last Thursday night. Vandals broke two outside windows to gain entry and a door glass was broken to permit passing from one area to another. As far as can be ascertained only 32 cents was taken. Business services were advertised by Mrs. Ruth Grimsley which include records, bookkeeping and general services, tax forms a specialty. A social will be held at the home of Mrs. Ruth Rankins, Sperryville on Saturday, Feb. 1 starting at 8 p.m. Games free. Chitterlings, potato salad, etc. will be on sale. Benefit of the Miss Hopewell contestant Miss Joann Aylor. Admission 50 cents. Triplett’s Milling Company in Culpeper had a recipe for Basic Scones. Miss Judy Burtner discusses texture of materials during the initial meeting of the clothing workshop now in progress under her instruction. Among those attending the class were Mrs. Frances Foster, Miss Mary Jenkins, Mrs. Mary Updike, Mrs. Anna Curtis, Miss Ruby Jenkins, Mrs. Judy Atkins and Miss Sue Many. Janet Hackley of Amissville has received the Good Citizen Award
