The Labor Day weekend is well-known for the time of family reunions. We had several in our community this weekend.
On Saturday they had the Wharton reunion with about 200 in attendance. There were at least four generations represented there. Some family rrjembers from each of the 13 children of Henry T. Wharton and Lillie Cloud Wharton were in attendance.
Sunday brought another reunion at the Rappahannock Park, the George Washington Beahm and Nancy Bolen Beahm families.
