Virgie Wince was given a surprise birthday party at the Flint Hill Public House, Sunday, Aug. 27. Mrs. Wince had attended school there.
In attendance were husband, Robert and son Edward Wince of Flint Hill, Larry and Margaret Costella of Martinsburg, W.Va., Susan Harding and Arthur Puskae of Leesburg, Eric and Sarah Harding of Ashburn, Mark and Patricia, Ian and Sean Layer from Nottingham, England.
The Flint Hill Baptist Church will have services on Sunday, Sept. 10 with Rev. John Farrar as guest speaker. All are invited to attend. Services are held on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays qf each month.
Homecoming services will bfe held on Sunday, Sept. 24 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church. Regular worship services are held each Sunday at 8:45 a.m. with the Rev. Merlin Shorb as pastor. :♦
