She was born July 10, 1915 in Ashtabula, Ohio, a daughter of Elizabeth A. Willey and Jesse Anson Field.
She and her husband retired to Yuma, Ariz. in 1979.
She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and later of Ashtabula Nursing School. She worked as a RN at Ashtabula General Hospital and later as a private practice nurse.
She was a member of St. Peter s Episcopal Church and Order of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed golf, crafts, traveling, crossword puzzles and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband Bernie Lawrence Hoskins of 58 years of Boston; a daughter, Amy Jo Merritt and her husband Greg of Boston; a granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Merritt of Boston and a nephew, Jon Thomas Field of Ashtabula, Ohio.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Henry Andrew Field.
Memorial service and burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery at a later date.
