The Community Concert Association of this extended area, soon to begin its 31st year of presenting the finest in professional live attractions in the auditorium of Culpeper County High School annopnces it 2000-2001 series.
The subscription season of five attractions opens at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 with a fully staged musical, "Sing, Sing, Swing", featuring Three Hits and a Miss in songs of the 40's and 50's.
On Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. music of many styles will be heard by the renowned Hector Olivera Solo Orchestra. Organist Olivera is known as a phenomenon!
Thursday, Nov. 2 brings the five man Boston Brass with classics to jazz and a little close harmony barbershop, too.
Considered an International cultural treasure, The American Boychoir comes Saturday afternoon, Feb. 17, 2001 and does a musically superb, animated performance of classical and popular selections.
