The Middle Street Gallery, a not-for-profit art space located in Washington is seeking entries for its upcoming exhibit entitled “The Wonders of Wood”. The show will i focus on wood as artistic medium and/or as subject matter.
Entries may include wood sculpture (including small pieces ; of furniture) or two- dimensional : artwork having wood as the I theme. The show will run from j Friday, Aug. 2 through Sunday, Sept. 1. An opening reception will i be provided on Sunday, Aug. 4. • Artists will be limited to one \ entry only. Rapidan Better Housing is accepting applications for its 2003 program year for the federal and state funded Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program. The IPR program provides zero percent interest loans to owner-occupants whose homes lack indoor Rlumbing, or where the existing water delivery or waste disposal system has failed. , A limited amount of grant money is also available to lowincome homeowners to help pay for these repairs.
Rapidan Better Housing has been assisting homeowners with the IPR program since 1996 and provides financing, plus complete project management from start to finish.
