Honor Roll for the past grading advisory at A. G. Richardson Elementary School, where she is a student. Angela Van Nostrand also received honors by making the Honor Roll and Ellie Van Nostrand achieved the All A Honor Roll for the entire year.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Mr. Franklin Warner of Dennis Road who celebrated his day, Sunday, Father’s Day. Mr. Warner is a member of the Rappahannock School Board, from our district and also belated wishes to Darlene Cubbage who added another year on Saturday.
Sympathy is extended to the Whorton family of Castleton upon the passing of Mrs. Violet Whorton, which occurred at Culpeper Regional Hospital on Wednesday and to the Zellars family upon the loss of Mr. James Zellars of Reva, who departed this life on Saturday.
Congratulations to Matthew Viar of Reva, a student at Liberty University, who was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring semester where students carry an academic load for twelve credit hours and earn 3.5 grade average.
Our neighbors, a short distance up the road at Woodville Baptist Church are inviting young people to attend their Vacation Bible School beginning Sunday, June 23 and continuing through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Posey Howell representing the Salem Ruritan Club attended graduation exercises at Rappahannock High School on Saturday and on behalf of the club, presented the President’s Student Award to Miss Jessica Nawrocki.
Miss Ashley Corbin, Mrs. Tammy Ehrhart and children, Jessica and Chriss attended a graduation party for Miss Kellie Atkins in Sperryville on Saturday afternoon.
