The softball program, formerly a part of the Rappahannock Athletic Association in Amissville, has recently become an independent organization devoted solely to girls’ softball.
This newly-formed Babe Ruth League-affiliated girls’ softball organization, Piedmont Softball Association, wifi hold open registrations for its spring 2003 softball program on Saturday. Iu*i. .18 and Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Bill Payne Auction Gallery on Route 211 in Amissville.
Girls are encouraged to register who live in Fauquier, Culpeper and Rappahannock counties. Girls must be between the ages of five and 16 as of Jan. 1 of this year.
