The JV girls’ volleyball team split two matches losing to Strasburg 2-0 but rolling past Brentsville 2-0. The second game against Brentsville was very close but Samatha Brown nailed her last two serves to secure the 15-12 win. Mattie Nawrocki, Dani Siccardi and Rachel Gall played well in what was a very good team effort.

The varsity boys’ basketball team lost games to Strasburg and Brentsville as their record dropped to 0-9 on the season and 0-4 in the Bull Run District.

The Panthers played Strasburg very close in the first half but the Rams hit two baskets, one a three-pointer, just before the half to take a 38-30 halftime lead. The Rams ran off seven points to begin the third quarter to push their lead out to 45-30.
