The Rappahannock Express bus service, which will take passengers around the county and to nearhy towns and back, begins on Monday, March 17.
County residents will be seeing a red and white bus on the roads with a red rooster logo drawn on the side of the bus. This logo was created by artist Geneva Welch, a county resident.
A special dedication ceremony will be held at the Senior Nutrition Site on Mt. Salem Avenue at 10:15 a.m. on March 17. The first bus trip will begin at 11:15 a.m. from the Appetite Repair Shop.
The bus will operate five days a week and run to Warrenton on Mondays and Thursdays, to Culpeper on Tuesdays, and to Front Royal on Fridays.
