Rappahannock is a unique situation because riders are trying to get to other towns to shop for food, go to drug stores, see doctors for special medical needs and so on.
The bus will start at one point in the county, take riders in to a town, and then come back. This pattern will repeat itself four times throughout the day.
Because of the restrictions of the grant, the Rappahannock bus cannot interfere with the established practices of other localities.
It can stop at only one place in each town and riders will then use the established bus systems in those towns, such as Culpeper or Warrenton.
Since the Rappahannock bus will connect to the existing bus systems in Culpeper and Warrenton, their schedules will be available on the bus.
There is no bus system in Front Royal. One stop had to be picked that would accommodate many needs and Martin’s shopping center was chosen.
