PUBLIC HEARING: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE
ZONING CHAPTER
RELATING TO DISTILLERIES
On Monday, April 7, 2003, at 7:00 PM, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a Public Hearing at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider an amendment to the Zoning Chapter of the Rappahannock County Code to allow Distilleries in Commercial General and Highway Commercial zones by Special Exception.
The complete text of the proposed amendment is available for public inspection from 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday, at the County Administration Office, 290 Gay Street, Washington, Virginia. The amendment derives from a resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors on March 3.
In addition, the Rappahannock County Planning Commission shall hold a Public Hearing on the proposed amendments on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 7:30 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia
All interested persons are invited to attend either or both meetings and to make comments. Written comments may be submitted to either body at PO Box 519, Washington VA 22747.
