MEMORIAM If family and friends wish to remember the life of a person who has died far from home, they may participate in a memorial service that evokes the memory of the deceased without having the body present. This evocation may be conducted in word, song, and pictures. Much as a person would nostalgically thumb through an album of photographs, a memorial service may involve readings, musical interludes, and personal remembrances of cherished thoughts by friends and family. For instance, there might be a funeral in the town where the person lived and died, and a jnemorial service later in the town where the deceased grew up.

Sometimes having two services can be appropriate if a loved one lived far from where he or she is eventually buried. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, we are happy to help you arrange the details of transporting a loved one if that should become necessary. Call us at 347-3431 to set up an appointment.
