Rappahannock folks who enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the Main Street Bistro in Old Town Warrenton, which closed last year, are welcomed back.
With a new owner, different menu, same name, same location ... the Bistro recently reopened.
“The location is great,” said new owner A1 Nosrat, who also owns Napoleon’s Restaurant a quarter-mile away. “We’ve tried to make it a little more family-oriented. I want to appeal to local people with good food and reasonable prices.”
Running two restaurants in the same proximity might lead an owner to simply duplicate one menu in the other. Not so with Nosrat.
“It’s entirely different food,” he said. “What we have here is not at all like what we have at Napoleon’s. And well change the menu a couple of times a year, and well have specials every day and every night.”
Business has been good so far, Nosrat thinks.
