April 1 and 15 New Mother Support Group If you have just given birth to your first child or your next child, you will find a warm welcome to this supportive group It will meet on the first and third Thursday of each month and will be led by a registered nurse. Babies and healthy siblings are invited, as well. You can weigh your baby, ask questions, share ideas and concerns with other moms Registration is not required, but please call 829-4114 to confirm date and time 10-11:30am

April 5 Infant Care and Car Seat Safety This free class at the Family Birth Center at Culpeper Regional Flospital is important for all mothers having their first or next child You will get current information about caring for newborns and vital information about child car seats including state legal requirements as well as correct installation 7-9pm

Health Promotions

April 15 First Aid Accidents, stings, and broken bones' Prepare for the summer activities with an American Heart Association certified First Aid Course. Class is limited to 16 participants and the cost is $40 Deadline to register is April 1 Call 829-5743, Health Promotions to register and receive course information. Class held in the Hospital Boardroom. 6-10pm

Support Groups

Every Monday from April 19-June 21 GriefShare If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, it mav be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. GriefShare is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.
