Zeke, a two-year-old thoroughbred- Appaloosa mix, gave out a loud whinny when he saw his reflection in the glass door at the Rappahannock News building on Main Street startling editor Mary Ann Kuhn, who was working at her desk. His owner and rider, Forrest Whorton of Castleton, was taking Zeke around the town of Washington one recent Sunday afternoon to see how he reacted to different experiences. Zeke is still learning to write his name. Meanwhile, seven students of the Rappahannock Child Care & Learning Center’s Summer Program took a tour of the offices last week.
