In addition to local residents, Project Rainbow has served families throughout Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Tennessee. The group is constantly raising money to help support its efforts and it serves 12-14 families annually.
While we chatted by phone, Mullen reported that a call had come in from the Jenkins’ family visiting in Florida at a special therapy program for their disabled son Johnny. They were having a great trip boosting the spirits of Johnny, his parents and brother Hunter. A detailed report of their trip and the therapy Johnny received will be in this paper in the near future.
