is promoting journaling and diary as a form of legitimate public art. It is not. Real artists serve the art form, not themselves.
There are dozen’s of prizewinning writers in this county. So, why publish an article about an amateur’s attempts at it? Is it because she has successfully gained a local following? Creating public consensus combined with consistency in self-exposure does noi qualify a person as a writer. Neither did it make good content for inclusion in your paper.
In the future, please limit the content of human interest articles to include only those Who have mastered their skills, instead of those who have not.
