She was predeceased bv her husband, Fenwick L. Bowey.
She is survived by one sister Blanche Maxsell of Gaithersburg, Md.; nieces and nephews Cheryl Bettinger of Germantown. Md., Linda Huss of Gaithersburg, Md., Robert and Scott Maxsell both of Mt. Airy, Md., A1 Estelle, New Carrollton, Md., and Wilson Truluck of Gaffney, S.C.
Funeral services were held July 7 at Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ed Taylor officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
