The first year of the Rappahannock Soccer Summer Camp was a great success.
Coach Shay Bell, head coach of the Rappahannock boys’ varsity soccer team, a: long with Tim Kearney, head coach for Culpeper High School, Rappahannock County Schools’ Sports Association, and the Culpeper and Rappahannock soccer associations sponsored a five-day soccer camp.
The camp was Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Campers practiced basic soccer skills including passing, heading, and shooting.
