The proposal by Cellular One to build a 250foot tall tower to serve its customers and also be put at the disposal of the sheriff’s department for dispatching deputies, and fire and rescue is intriguing. However, the proposed location on the courthouse lawn is appalling. The Rappahannock Monarchs defeated Edinburg in a double header Sunday. Storey Frye and William Parker had clutch hits to beat previously unbeaten Edinburg in the bottom of the fifth to break a 2-2 tie and send the Monarchs to a 4-3 victory. Nils Aylor added a two run homer for Rappahannock and Luther Alexander was the winning pitcher.
