The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community welcomes back on Friday, Feb. 13 critically acclaimed author, creativewriting teacher and NPR commentator Marion Winik, who will read from her most recent book. The Glen Rock Book of the Dead,” hailed as one of the 10 best books of 2008 by More magazine.
Winik s talk begins at 8 p.m. and is part of RAAC’s Friday at the Library Series at the Rappahannock County Library.
Winik’s previous appearances in Rappahannock have been greeted with standing room only crowds, who laughed and cried as she shared her often hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking writings about her own life.
