The National Wildlife Turkey Federation (NWTF) is out and about in the Rappahannock community again.

Created in 1973, it helps give back to the community and protect the hunting heritage. There are over half a million members and growing. Tbgether, the NWTF’s partners, sponsors and grassroots members have raised and spent more than $279 million upholding hunting traditions and conserving more than 13.9 million acres of wildlife habitat.

The chapter in Rappahannock, called Aaron Mountain Strutters, had a banquet last May to raise money for worthy causes. One of the many acts of generosity was
