Never underestimate the lengths some alleged burglars will go to actually sell vacuum cleaners door-to-door. It seems it would be easier to be a Wall Street cnxik like Bemie Madoffwith complex finance1 schemes involving billions.
But selling vacuum cleaners while potentially casing a joint? That's tough.
A story alxiut “well dressed" young men demonstrating “household products" and “forcing “ their way in to homes, showed up in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star on Sunday warning readers about potential Hoover bandits in Rappahannock County...60 miles away.
By Monday, an avalanche of sightings, encounters and opinions regarding the men were posted on Rappnetthe county's email list-serve.
Some reported that they had been visited bv said pushy salesmen, but that their dogs scared them off.
A few said they were offend free air freshener for allowing a demonstration
