American taxpayer why should anyone be surprised? Multinational corporations have long ceased to have any allegiance to our country or its citizens. Their only allegiance is to their international partners and their own narrow' interests. As the CEO of Ford Motor Company publicly stated at a stockholders’ meeting, “We don’t have to start our meetings with a pledge of allegiance to the flag because we’re a multinational corporation."

The next time a Wall Street fat-cat or their elected political lackeys reaches out for another taxpayer hand-out, send him to the World Bank.
