Leonard Joseph Kopjanski, 82, of Boston, VA and formerly of Shelton, CT, departed this life in peace on March 6, 2009.
Len was the former owner of White Hills Orchard in Huntington, GT from where he retired in 2000 and moved to Boston, VA to be with his children. In addition to farming, he also retired from Southern New England Telephone Company after thirty five years of service in various positions. Leonard served in the U.S. Navy Pacific Command during World War II as an electrician in the submarine division. He also served briefly in the U.S. Merchant Marines.
