Irish smiles Rappahannock County's first St. Patrick’s Day celebration sponsored by the Lions Club brought Irish smiles and green decorations to Little Washington on Saturday, March 14. One of the parade hits included Bob Anderson, chairman of the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors, driving John Anderson’s 1932 Buick roadster. Passengers are’Lions Club event chairman Jim Gannon, front seat, and leprechaun Norman Getsinger. An Irish lunch and entertainment followed in the Washington fire hall attended by 140 guests.
