Reynolds Memorial Baptist church, tastefully decorated with dogwood and apple blossoms, was the scene Saturday, April 29, at noon of the 'wedding of Miss Ann Bragg Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rodes Brown, of Sperryville, and the Reverend A. Paul Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie F. Thompson, of Russellville, Missouri. The Rev. William R. Snead of Stevensburg, Culpeper county, performed the ceremony.
William Jackson Brown, brother of the bride, sang “Because’’ preceding the ceremony and the “Lord’3 Prayer” at the close of the ceremony. Mrs. C. E. Johnson,

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of lace over ivory satin, fashioned with a lace yoke, leg-o-mutton sleeves with tight-fitted pointed wrists, and the full skirt formed a train. Her fingertip veil fell from a lace cap, and Jjer bouquet was of gardenias and lily-of-the-valley, centered with an o,chid. The lace of the bride’s wedding gown was from the Wedding owA of her mother, and she wore a handwrought gold lavalliere which had been a gift from her father to her mother.
