Some fruits 'sink in gelatin— others float. The next time you make a gelatin salad or dessert, why not take advantage of this fact? First add the fruit that will sink, distributing the pieces "as evenly as possible. Canned apricots, cherries, peaches, pears, pineapple, plum-, raspberries fresh orange sections, grapes and cooked pm nes will sink to the bottom.

Next add the fruits that will float. Apple cubes, banana slices, fresh peaches and pears, fresh strawberry halves, broken nut meats, and marshmallow^^ will float. Chill the dessert until it is firm. There will be two fruit layers with clear gelatin in between.
