Sperryville School

Club Picnic Held

The Sperryville F.H.A.—F.F.A. are going on a picnic today (May 4). The roup is making the trip to Hawksbill by truck, leaving at 2:30 they expect to get back about 10:00, Everybody is expecting to have a grand time.

4-H Club Party

The 4-H club held a party on the evening ^>f Wednesday, April 20. Game^-and dancing were enjoyed ajid refreshments were served.

May Day Program

Preparations for May Day are ,in fell swing. The May Court will be as follows:

Queen, Jean Brown; Maid of Honor, Joan Brown; Barbara Brown, Joan Aylor, Barbara Black, Carolyn Jenkins, “Bee” Jenkins, Josephine Butler, Dorothy Thompson, Mary Jane Cornell.

In 1816 he was elected to the House of Representatives. .

From 1825 to 1827 he was governor of Virginia.

In 1840 he was elected vicepresident.

In 1841 he was made president.

He died at Richmond on January 18, 1862.

He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond.
