16 of the FF.A. boys are eagerly looking forward to a week’s camping trip at the State F.F.A. F.H.A. camp on the James river, near Smithfield, this summer. We plan to attend with our instructor, Mr. Wagner, during the week of June 26 - 30.

Incidentally approximately the same number of F.F.A. - F.H.A. girls will attend at the same time.

Big plans are being made for our annual F.F.A.—F.H.A. picnic, to be held this year at Schuler’s playground near Stanley. Charles Scroggins and Junior Martin a*e getting gray hairs trying to find old hams to meet. the exactly specification of our Home Economics teacher, Miss Owen.

Odds And Ends

Partners changed quite often at the School Party Friday night.

Freshman Newbill and Peggy Ann were a familiar dancing couple.

Helen was the envy of all us girls when W. A. claimed her as his partner . . . Bobby entertained with his version of “Chattanooga Shoe Shine Boy.” . . . Buddy Goode followed up with “Old Black Joe.’’

Eloise and Lois were riding high last Thursday in a shiny Ford. ^

Lois Utz blushes whenever anyone begins talking about “Morons.”

Yum-Yum, how about another delicious turkey dinner in the lunch room—the sooner, the better.

Kind motherly advice to wifehunters—“Marriage is a ceremony in which rings are put on the finger of the lady and through the nose of the gentleman” — says Herbert Spencer.
