“Proud" just ain’t sufficient, however my puny vocabulary just doesn’t come forth with any better word to describe how I feel about Bobby Atkins and Newbill Miller; the job they have done since last October in feeding their baby beeves, the training they gave ’em before going to the show, and finally the good job they did throughout the Char lottesville Area Baby Beef Show and Sale.
These boys put an average of about 1.86 lbs. gain per day on their calves even when the final weight iwas determined after the calves were hauled all the way to Charlottesville; now that’s not had for‘first timers’!
