Kitchen Improvement
Meeting May 8
Miss Helen Alverson, home management specialist of VPI, will be in the county May 8 to give help on kitchen improvement.
In the morning Miss Alverson will make a few visits to homes where homemakers plan to remodel kitchens. Any woman in the county who plans to remodel her kitchen in the near future, let the home agent know and perhaps Miss Alverson can make a visit to that kitchen on Monday and give suggestions.
As yet there are only two kitchens scheduled to be visited.
If you would like pointers and advice on kitchen re-modeling, attend the afternoon meeting Monday at 2 p.m. at Washington Firehouse.
