Engagement Announced
Mrs. J. R. Hswkins of Boston has announced the engagement of her daughter, Dorothy Virginia, to Cecil E. Carder, son of Mr. and .Mrs. Bernard Carder of Culpeper. —Iftee Hawkins, a graduate of Madison college, Harrisonburg, is at present a member of the faculty of Herndon high school.
During the war Mr. Carder served with the 10th Army Air Force in India. Since being discharged, he graduated from Bluefield college and has attended the University of Richmond. At present he is a student at Mary Washington college of University of Virginia from which he will receive hie degree this summer.
The wedding will take place in August.
