ham Pie
1 cup scalded milk
1/3 Cup sugar
2 2/3 T. flour
1/2 T. salt
2 egg yolks lightlyv beaten
1/4 C thin cream
3/4 T lemon juice
1 large banana
Mix sugar, flour and add yolks. Pour on scalded milk gradually, while stirring constantly, and cook is double boiler fifteen min* utes. Stir until mixture thickens then afterwards occasionally, cool and add cream, lemon juice, and banana. Chill thoroughly and turn it baked pie shell. Cover with meringue and bake until golden brown.

Conducts Assembly
The PHA girls gave a very in* teresting assembly last Friday under the direction of Miss Owen.
They had a formal initiation of the new members in the FHA this year. The new members are Lois Walter, Carol Williams, Shirley Weaver, Annie Mary Williams, Alice Mae Coughlin, Barbara Griffith, Catherine LiUard, and Lucille Pullen.
They also gave a play on personal grooming. This was a most interesting assembly. -Next week it is Mrs. Corbin's time with her Eleventh English class.
